From my daily journal: Page Four

After the usual breakfast I asked the clerk to help us find any stained glass studios in the phone book. No such luck but she did think there was one she'd seen over by the hospital. We headed for Musée d'Orsay. It's the old train station converted to art. Huge open space. Got the audio guide and viewed amazing statues![]()
and Impressionist paintings. Even the frames were impressive.
Had a nice brunch there. Waiters are irritating. After Monét and the Art Nouveau stained glass
and furniture,
we headed over to see if the stained glass studio was open. There had been no phone answered at 9:00 am. When we got there, it was steel gated and looking very run down
and no sign of any stained glass. Certainly nothing like Cradle of the Sun! Next we Metroed to Notre Dame.
Very impressive, of course.
We walked back to the hotel after checking out the art vendors along the Seine. We wandered up St. Germain and had dinner at a down-steps-place, La Campanule, that we were beckoned into. Then we walked home passing a series of camping stores. They had an outlet on at least five corners. I did some "rock climbing".
